Dashcam

Finally decided on a Dashcam to get for my Ute! I went with the Elinz 11.26″ Rear-view Mirror as it was the best value with all the features at $294.95 AUD ^_^.

At first i wasn’t too keen on a mirror dashcam for when i last drove in a car with one there was quite a bit of glare on the screen and found it to be annoying. I still have that concern but because recently installing a canopy it is quite restricted to see especially when parking!! So i opted for it anyway since the rearview mirror is pretty much not useable now and saves me a lot of money if i was to install a headunit. It made more sense as one would automatically look at the rearview mirror when reversing or having a live view from the rear.

I also liked this model because of the android auto feature which can directly plug into my car speakers using the aux cable. Genius! It has the live streaming as well as a few safety features.

The only downside is it didn’t come in a smaller screen size for the 4k version so it does interfere with my sun visors, however its not a major issue.
